Installation Tips

Installing the Magnetic Sensor

The magnetic sensor can be installed on windows, doors or any other object that can be opened or
closed. The sensor consists of two parts, the larger sensor part and the smaller magnet part. The sensor
attaches to the frame and the magnet to the moving part.
When installed correctly, the LED on the magnetic sensor blinks once when the two parts are separa-
ted by more than a centimetre. When closed, the spacing between the two parts must not be more
than one centimetre.
Both parts of the magnetic sensor attach with double sided tape or screws.
Do not install the magnetic sensor on metal surfaces or in places where there are a large number of
metal parts. Ensure the LED blinks when the window or doors opens.
IMPORTANT: On both parts of the magnetic sensor there is an arrow. Parts must be fixed with the
arrow pointing towards you.
Connecting the Magnetic Sensor
1. Ensure the sensor is mounted next to the magnet at a distance of less than one centimetre.
2. Enter the passcode into the control panel and press "RECORD".
3. Record button lights up.
4. Separate the two parts of the sensor from each other at a distance of greater than one centimetre.
5. The sensors will record the event. When the sensor is successfully paired, the control panel will beep.
If the control panel beeps twice, it means the sensor has already been paired.

Electric Lock Output

The PUSH and GND connector of the electric lock can be connected to the PUSH and GND at the rear
of the control panel.
Once the security system is connected to the electric lock and disarmed, the control panel sends a
signal to the lock and unlocks it.
NOTE: Doors equipped with an electric lock automatically unlock when there is a power failure. We strongly
recommend connecting a backup power device.

Installing the Control Panel

The control panel can be mounted directly on the wall or using the stand on any flat surface.
Installing on the Wall
The control panel can be mounted on the wall using the bracket and screws included. Insert the con-
trol panel into the bracket from top to bottom. The bracket ensures that the tamper switch is conti-
nually depressed.
Installing on a Flat Surface
Using the stand, the control panel can be installed on any flat surface. Insert the control panel into the
stand from top to bottom. The stand ensures that the tamper switch is continually depressed.
IMPORTANT: Pressing the tamper switch several times resets the system.

Assigning Sensors to Modes

Each sensor can be assigned to one of four different modes. The security system recognizes home
mode, normal mode, 24-hour mode and single zone mode.
IMPORTANT: Before you set the security system, decide which sensor to put in which group. If you
want to change which group the sensor is in, the sensor must be disconnected from the control
panel.
The figure below shows the sensor switch setting for each group.
