Explanation of the symbols on the device
Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompa-
nying explanations must be fully understood. The warnings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot replace
proper accident prevention measures.
Read and observe the instructions manual and safety regulations before starting the machine!
Wear ear-muffs!
Wear a breathing mask. Dust which is injurious to health can be generated when working
on wood and other materials. Never use the tool to work on any materials containing asbes-
tos!
WARNING! Wear safety goggles. Sparks generated during working or splinters, chips and
dust emitted by the device can cause loss of sight!
WARNING! Risk of injury! Never reach into the planing knife during operation.
