"VE" (TRAFFIC-INFORMATION BROADCAST) DISPLAY MODE DURING TAPE OPERATION:
When the BK button is switched on, the "VF" broadcast station will appear on the display panel.
If BK button is Push band selector and tape

2. Tune in to the "VF" broadcast station;

e Using seek tuning (''SK" search tuning)
Push seek tuning pushbutton. The ''VF" broadcast station will appear on the display panel.
e@ Using manual tuning (TUNE D or TUNE U) or "BK" search tuning (''VF" area buttons "A" — 'F'')
Push the DK button to off, The DK indicator should not be lighting up. Then push the up/down tuning pushbutton (TUNE
D or TUNE U) for manual tuning. Or, push any designated area buttons ("A'' — ''F'') by following the instructions on
page 5 under the ''BK"' search tuning.
NOTE: When the "VF" traffic-information broadcast (DK) is "on air', tape play will stop (tape at ''pause'' mode). (Tape can
be ejected, if necessary, during "VF" traffic-information reception.) Tape play will resume after the traffic-information
broadcast is terminated.

To stop playing, push this button. The cassette will pop out for
removal, and the radio will be heard again.
NOTES:
1. If the cassette is not manually. ejected, '""Auto-Reverse"' will
operate and playback continues on the other side of the tape.
2. The cassette should always be removed from the cassette slot
when not in use.
