Tape Direction Indicator
The tape direction indicator (T#-4, or G~ OG 4) appears on the
display panel during tape playback.
ft_it, : indicates the top side of the cassette is being played.
O11 4 : Indicates the bottom side of the cassette is being played.
NOTE: However, when the BK button is switched on, before or
after the tape is inserted, the "VF" frequency appears on
the display panel.

Tape Program Selector (PRG)
Depress both buttons ( [<<][>>] ) fully to select the desired
direction of tape play as indicated by the tape direction
indicator (program reverses after a lapse of 2 - 3 seconds).
Otherwise, tape direction indicator changes automatically
when the tape reaches its end (Auto-Reverse System).

Metal Tape Selector (MTL)
Push and the metal indicator comes
on, for playing metal or CrOz tape.
