BASIC NOISE SUPPRESION METHODS / GRUNDENTSTORUNG
Hierbei ist wieder auf einen guten Massekontakt zu achten.
Der Kontakt der Blechschrauben allein gentigt nicht. Der
Lack unterhalb der Kondensator-Halterung muf& durch
Abkratzen entfernt und mit Kontaktfett behandelt werden.
Die Entst6rung selbst wird wie folgt durchgefinhrt.
Proper grounding is one of the most important items.
The contact of the tapping screws only is not sufficient.
Remove the paint under the holder of the capacitor and
apply contact grease. The noise suppression can then be
performed as follows:

'The ignition coil has to be provided with a 2.2uF parallel
capacitor at the terminal (+). If the ignition coil is

Connect a 2.2uF parallel capacitor to the terminal "B+".
The attachment lug of the capacitor should be con-
nected with the alternator case.

A grounding band has to be connected between the
engine hood and the car body. Remove the paint under
the grounding band completely. The grounding band
is used to avoid interferences (engine noise) that are
transferred from the engine compartment via the
antenna into the radio.

An die mit "B+'' bezeichnete Klemme wird ein Parallel-
Kondensator von 2,2uF geschaltet. Befestigungslasche
des Kondensators an Masse der Lichtmaschine befestigen.

MOTORHAUBE: (Abb, 3)
Auf der Antennenseite wird ein Masseband zwischen
Motorhaube und Karosserie angebracht. Lack unterhalb
der Befestigung des Massebandes gut entfernen. Das
Masseband sorgt dafir, da keine Stdrungen der
Zundanlage vom Motorraum tiber die Antenne ins Radio
gelangen konnen.
ZUNDVERTEILER: (Abb. 4)
1 Verteilerstecker von 1 bis 10k Ohm wird auf die
center jack of the distributor and its plug. mittlere Buchse des Ziindverteilers gesteckt.

correctly, but still interferences are audible, please contact
. your nearest service station.
Sollten weiterhin St6rgerausche auftreten, obwohl obige
Grundentst6rung genauestens beachtet wurde, sollte zur
Beseitigung der Stérquelle eine KFZ-Elektro-Werkstatt
aufgesucht werden.
