Every time the traffic-information
broadcast
station
is "on air' the normal
FM radio program will temporarily be stopped.
The SK"
indicator lights up.
If the traffic-information
broadcasting station cannot be received due to weak signal when the desired designated ''VF'' area
button is pushed, the "SK" indicator will not light up. In this case, push that same area button again or select another "VF"
station by seek tuning.

B. DK RECEPTION

Push the DK button.
DK tuning is used for listening to '"VF"
traffic-information programs only. Other
programs will be cut off.
"DK"

1. During tape play, the "VF" broadcast station can still be heard automatically as long as the BK button is switched on.
2. tf you drive away from the tuned in "VF" broadcast station, the signal will become weak, and the "SK" indicator will go off.
Then the "BK"
search tuning will automatically operate. If the ''BK" cannot be searched, the SK"
search tuning will auto-
matically operate.
(This explanation is also true during tape playback.)

If manual tuning is pushed, DK will not be available and the radio will switch to SK/BK mode unless the DK button is pushed

The AUX
JACK
is used
for connection
with
a portable
CD
player or other auxiliary equipment.
. The
VOLUME
CONTROL
should
be
in the minimum
level
position when turning the auxiliary equipment
"on" and "off"'.
. Never
connect
an
auxiliary
equipment
haveing
a signal
level
input of more than 2V (RMS).
. Be sure to unplug the auxiliary equipment from the AUX JACK
after using it.
. The
priority
is given to the traffic-information,
even
if you
use AUX
JACK, as long as the BK/DK button is pushed. But,
CD
portable
player
has priority at running the compact
disc.
5. LISTENING
TO THE CASSETTE
TAPE
Cassette Slot
Insert
cassette
with
exposed
tape side facing to the
right. Push
inward
until the mechanism
captures the
cassette.
Playback
starts
automatically
when
the
cassette tape is inserted.
Radio
(except
''VF'' recep-
tion) will not work while a tape is playing.
