Possible cause
els the personal computer powered on?
eHas the power cable of personal computer been connected
correctly?
els the label of the PD cartridge peeled off?
— Insert a pin into the emergency ejection hole to open the tray.
eHas the PD cartridge, CD or CD-ROM disc been inserted correctly?
eHas the PD cartridge, CD or CD-ROM disc been inserted correctly?
Has the power cable of personal computer been connected
correctly?
eHas the drive's SCSI ID been set correctly?
eHas the drive's terminator been set correctly?
e Are the drive and computer connected correctly?
®Has a floppy disk been left inside the computer?
èis the total length of the SCS! cable less than 6 meters?
eHas the drive's terminator been set correctly?
è Are the drive and computer connected correctly?
Only PD cartridges supported by this unit can be used.
Has the PD cartridge been placed correctly on the tray?
eDid you insert the PD cartridge with the space for an adhesive label
facing up?
eDid you initialize (format) the PD cartridge?
eis the PD cartridge dirty?
®Has condensation formed in the drive?
(Wait an hour or so after turning on the computer for the unit to dry
out and then try operating.)
eOnly CDs or CD-ROMs supported by this unit can be used.
eHas the CD or CD-ROM been placed correctly on the tray?
® Did you insert the CD or CD-ROM with the label facing up?
è Are you using the correct software program for playing CDs and
CD-ROMs?
els the CD dirty, scratched, cracked, warped, written on the sunface
or put a label?
eHas condensation formed in the drive?
