Check the spindle for ease of movement!
Check the V-belt and tighten if necessary.
Check that the fixing lever is firmly seated.
Verify that the drill bit is securely fastened in the
quick release chuck.
Always adapt the speed to the respective work.
Ensure that there are no chips on the sliding
surfaces.
Check that the vice, clamps, jaws and the work-
piece are properly secured.
Remove tools that are not required.
Checking the screw connections
Always check all screw connections before commissioning and tighten them if necessary.
15.2
Information on initial start-up
Before commissioning the machine, make sure that you have followed the previous as-
sembly and adjustment instructions, that you have read the instructions and that you
are familiar with the various functions and safety features of this machine. Disregarding
this warning may result in serious injury or even death! Failure to observe this warning
may result in serious injury or even death!
After assembly is complete, test the machine to ensure that it is functioning properly and ready for
regular operation.
Release the emergency stop button and turn on the machine using the ON-OFF switch.

Test the emergency stop button for proper function. If it is actuated, the machine must stop.

Check the function of the spindle protection cover and the V-belt cover. These must prevent
the machine from being commissioned in open position.

Operation
Before changing any tools, stop the spindle, wait for all machine parts to come to a
standstill and secure the machine against unintentional restart.
Switch the machine on and off
For the machine to be started, the emergency stop button must be unlocked and the
V-belt cover and spindle protection cover must be closed!

Switch the machine on
Unlock the emergency stop button (1) by turning it in the di-
rection of the arrow.
Press the green ON switch (2).

Clean and lubricate the machine.
Prepare bare machine parts with a corrosion
protection agent to avoid corrosion.
Loosen the V-belt if the machine is not used for
a longer period of time.
