Chrome strip of the front bumper
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
The component is manufactured from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
The chrome strip for the front bumper (order no. 3V0 071 004) is designed for the
Superb (3V).

Fitting instructions
Note
The adhesive sealant is not contained in the set and must be ordered separately in ac-
cordance with the workshop's practices.

Important fitting information
Please note: The vehicle must be completely clean.
In order to correctly adhere the front bumper chrome strips (hereafter simply referred to as
"strips") to the vehicle, the ambient temperature, the vehicle temperature and the temper-
ature of the components to be adhered must be between 18 and 30 °C. Protect the compo-
nents from direct sunlight (fig. 1).
Caution: When adhering the strips, ensure that the work area is
adequately ventilated – the cleaning agents contain dangerous
fumes.
Before you begin adhering the strips, check that they are correctly positioned on the front
bumper. The outline of the strips' contact surface must follow the shape of the front bump-
er's surface.
