1. Zur Montage des Tonabnehmersystems
lasen Sie den Systemtrager (3) vom Tonarm,
indem Sie den Tonarmgriff (2) nach hinten
drucken. Halten Sie dabei den Systemtrager
fest, da er nach Offnen der Verriegelung her
unterfallt.
2. Befestigen Sie das Tonabnehmersystem
unter Verwendung des dem Tonabnehmer-
system beigefigten Zubehérs auf dem Sy
stemtrager. Zu beachten ist, daft sich die Ab-
tasinadelspitze - von oben 'betrachtet - mit
der V-formigen Aussparung der Systemlehre
deckt (Fig, 13),
3. Die Anschitsse am Systemtrager und Ton
abnehmersystem sind gekennzeichnet (Fig
15). Verbinden Sie die Anschluilitzen des
Systemtragers mit den entsprechenden und
gleich gekennzeichneten Anschlustiften des
Tonabnehmersystems,
4. Der Systemtrager wird von unten an den
Tonkopt angelegt und durch Verschwenken
des Tonarmgriffes wieder mit dem Tonarm
verriegelt
Bitte prifen Sie nach erfolgter Montage eines
Tonabnehmersystems auch die Hohenstellung
des Tonarmes, die Hohe der Abtastnadel
uber der Schaliplatte bei Tonarmlift in Stel:
tung ¥ sowie das Aufsetzen der Nadel in die
Einiautrille der Schallplatte. Siehe Abschnit
te "Vertical tonearm control" (Seite 24),
"Tonarmlift' (Seite 26) und " Justierung des
Tonarmaufsetzpunktes" (Seite 30)
Abtastnadel
Die Abtastnadel ist durch den Abspielvor-
'gang natirlichem Verschlei® ausgesetzt. Wir
empfehlen daher eine gelegentliche Ober
prifung, die sich bei Diamant-Abtastnadeln
nach ca. 300 Spielstunden empfiehit. thr
Fachhandler wird dies gern kostenlos fur Sie
tun, Abgenutzte oder beschadigte (abgesplit:
terte) Abtasinadeln meifein die Modulation
'aus den Schallrillen und zerstGren die Schall
platten. Verwenden Sie bei Ersatzbedarf nur
die in den technischen Daten des. Tonab-
nehmersystems empfohlene _Nadeltype.
Nachgeahmte Abtastnadein verursachen hér-
bare Qualitatsveriuste und erhdhte Schall
platten-Abnutzung,
1. To mount the cartridge, detach the cart-
ridge holder (3) from the tonearm by pres:
sing the tonearm lift (2) backward, while
holding the cartridge holder with your hand
10 prevent its falling down when the lack is
released
2. Using the hardware provided, mount the
cartridge on the cartridge holder Make sure
that the V-shaped recess of the stylus tip -as
seen from above- covers the cartridge gauge
(Fig, 13)
3. The connection inputs on the cartridge
holder and on the cartridge are color coded
Connect the leads on the cartridge holder to
the correspondingly coded connection pins
of the cartridge (tig. 15)
4. Install the cartridge holder underneath the
tonearm head and lock it again to the tone:
arm by swinging the tonearm lift forward
After completing the installation of the cart:
ridge, check the height of the tonearm, the
height of the stylus tip above the record
with the cue control in ¥ position and the
set-<down position of the stylus in the lead-in
groove of the record. See "Vertical tonearm
control" page 24, "Cue control page 2¢
and "Adjustment of tonearm indexing
page 30.
Stylus
In normal use, every stylus is subject to wear
and tear, We recommend that it be inspec:
ted occasionally, but certainly after approxi
mately 300 playing hours in case of diamond
styli, Your Dual dealer will do this without
charge. Worn or damaged (chipped) styli will
grind the modulation out of record grooves
and damage the records, In case of replace
ment, obtain only the stylus type recom:
mended in the Technical Data for the cart:
ridge. Imitations cause noticeable loss in
sound quality and rapid record wear.
