Settings
If using the internal room temperature controller or an external
room temperature controller without a booster heater switch,
the following additional wiring is also required:

The wire should be positioned as follows:

the installation
Tilt the angled panel back again if necessary and secure
with
the screw.
After installing the booster heater, mark the appropriate
box on the wiring diagram on the right-hand side panel,
using a ballpoint pen.
Reattach the side panel, front panel and air outlet grille
to the appliance. Pay attention to the correct installation
sequence.

Settings
8.1
Enabling the booster heater
Before you can start using the booster heater, it must be ena-
bled in the configuration menu.
To access the configuration menu, press and hold the
"Menu"
button
for about
You must first enable access level A1,which is reserved for qual-
ified
contractors.
Use "+" or "—"to call up menu item "CodE".
Press "0K".
The code entry field is displayed. The first digit flashes.
Use "+" or"
— to enter the code 1000. After entering each
"
digit, press "0K".
After entering the correct code, call up parameter P12
with the "+" button. Press"0K" to make the parameter
editable.
To enable the installed booster heater, set the parameter
to a value of 1 using the "+" or "—"button. Press"0K" to
confirm.
If you close the configuration menu by pressing the "Menu"
button, the parameter block is reactivated.

Use the
"Fan"
button
to enable
Alter the temperature setting on the programming unit of
the storage heater or on the external room temperature
controller until the fan switches on (you can tell when this
happens as warm or cool air, depending on the heat-up
condition, will be felt at the air outlet grille).
Switch

booster
heater
Ifthe storage heater is controlled via an external room
temperature controller with a booster heater switch, then
in addition you must turn booster heating on with this
switch.
Check that the air emerging from the air outlet grille is
warmer
than
before.
