OPERATIONS
WHEN USING TWO CASSETTE DECKS
1. Load tapes for playback (pre-recorded tape) and
recording
(blank tape) into the respective cas-
sette decks.
2. Select
the
copying
direction
with
the INPUT
SELECTOR switch @ and TAPE 2/ADPT monitor
switch @.
« When copying from the cassette deck of the TAPE 1/DAT
terminals to the cassette deck of the TAPE 2/ADPT termi-
nals: Set the INPUT SELECTOR switch to TAPE 1/DAT and
TAPE 2/ADPT monitor switch to OFF.
* When copying from the cassette deck of the TAPE 2/ADPT
terminals to the cassette deck of TAPE
1/DAT terminals:
Set the TAPE 2/ADPT monitor switch to ON and the INPUT
SELECTOR to a position other then TAPE
1/DAT.
3. Operate the cassette decks to begin copying.
Set the cassette deck with the original (playback) tape to the
playback mode, and set the cassette deck with the blank tape
to the recording mode.

USE THE
COMPONENT
CONNECTED
TO
THE TAPE 2/ADPT TERMINALS:
[For an adaptor component]
By connecting a graphic equalizer, source sounds (from records,
tapes, AM/FM broadcasts, etc.) can be heard with added sound
and tone compensation.
Sounds compensated via the adaptor component can be record-
ed.
NOTE:
When the DIRECT switch
© is ON, the adaptor component can-
not be used to modify the source sounds.
(A-202 only)
1. Set the TAPE 2/ADPT monitor switch @ to ON.
2. Play back the source.
3. Operate the adaptor component.
[For a cassette deck]
A cassette deck connected here can be operated in the same way
(recording and playback) 'as a deck connected to the TAPE
1/DAT terminals.
Also, if two decks are used, you can copy tapes from one deck
onto the other (see the section "Copying Tapes")
NOTE:
To play a tape with the cassette deck connected to the TAPE
2/ADPT terminals the DIRECT switch must be set to OFF. (A-202
only)
1. Set the TAPE 2/ADPT monitor switch @ to ON.
2. Operate the cassette deck to perform playback
(or recording) .

3. Faire
fonctionner
les
magnétocassettes
pour
démarrer fa copie.
Régler le magnétocassette
contenant
la bande originale sur le
mode de reproduction et régler le magnétocassette contenant la
bande vierge sur le mode d'enregistrement.

2/ADAPTATEUR
(TAPE 2/ADPT) :
[Pour un composant adaptateur]
En raccordant un égaliseur graphique, les sons de source (provenant
de disques, bandes, émissions AM/FM, etc.) peuvent étre entendus
avec
une
compensation
sonore
et
tonale
ajoutée.
Les
sons
compensés par le composant adaptateur peuvent étre enregistrés.
REMARQUE:
Lorsque le commutateur DIRECT © est régié sur la position ON, le
composant adaptateur ne peut pas &tre utilisé pour modifier les sons
de source.
(A-202 seulement)
1. Régler le commutateur de contréle TAPE 2/ADPT @
sur la position ON.
2. Reproduire la source.
3. Faire fonctionner le composant adaptateur.
[Pour un magnétocassette]
Un magnétocassette
raccordé 4 ces bornes peut tre utilisé de la
méme
maniére
(enregistrement
et
reproduction)
qu'un
magnétocassette
raccordé
aux
bornes
TAPE
1/DAT.
Si deux
magnétocassettes sont utilisés, il est également possible de copier des
bandes d'un magnétocassette sur |'autre (voir la section "Copie de
bandes").
REMARQUE:
Pour lire une bande avec le magnétocassette raccordé aux bornes
TAPE 2/ADPT, le commutateur DIRECT doit étre régié sur la position
OFF. (A-202 seulement)
1. Régler le commutateur de contréle TAPE 2/ADPT @
sur la position ON.
2. Faire fonctionner le magnétocassette pour effectuer
la reproduction (ou I'enregistrement) .
