Thank you for purchasing the modern and
reliable »signolux« alerting system. Please
read the user manual carefully for the prop-
er use of the device and so that you can
familiarise yourself with all the possibilities
this system offers.
Standard delivery scope
Kindly check if all following parts are
included:
– »signolux« receiver S
– 4 rechargeable batteries size AA / HR6
– Power supply unit
– Wall mount
– 2 screws + 2 wall plugs
– User manual + Warranty card
Should any parts be missing, kindly contact
your specialist dealer or the manufacturer
directly.
Function
A »signolux« light signal system consists
of at least one transmitter (e.g. doorbell
pushbutton) ad a »signolux« receiver. Up
to 8 transmitters can be assigned to each
event icon.
If e.g. the doorbell
pressed, a radio signal (radio impulses at
868,425 MHz) are transmitted to the »si-
gnolux« receiver. This one signals the re-
ceived signals acoustically and visually with
sounds and light signals.
Safety instructions
– Prior to putting the device into operation
and using it, kindly read this manual thor-
oughly and in full.
– Store this operating manual in a safe
place so that it is also accessible for other
users at any time.
– Keep Signolux devices out of the reach of
children! This packaging contains small
parts which may present a choking haz-
ard!

– Flashes of light can trigger epileptic sei-
zures in people with photosensitive epi-
lepsy (PSE).
– When using power tools always follow the
instructions of the manufacturer and wear
suitable protective equipment (e.g. pro-
tective goggles).
– Kindly check before starting to drill if there
are any hidden electric cables and water
pipes in the walls. In case of doubt we
recommend using a a cable detector.
Setup
Inserting the rechargeable batteries into
the receiver
a) At the rear side there is a battery com-
partment, its cover can be pushed
downwards so that the compartment
opens ( fig. 1).

b) Now insert the 4 rechargeable batteries
(included). Ensure correct polarity of the
batteries.
c) Close the battery cover again by insert-
ing the cover and pushing it upwards.
