Preset transmitter indication
Signolux devices can be used together im-
mediately and without prior pairing when
delivered.
Which event icon is displayed depends on
the type of transmitter. This information can
be found in the user manual of the accor-
ding transmitter.
Optional manual pairing
Note 1:
If a transmitter is to be displayed with an
event icon of your own choice, this can be
done as described in the chapter "Pairing
transmitters and adapting them to the event
icons".
However, this causes the receiver to lose
the preset transmitter indication and all
transmitters previously shown on the recei-
ver must be individually paired.
Note 2:
Should there be repeated false alerts when
using the preset transmitter indication, this
may hint at a neighbouring Signolux instal-
lation causing interference. In this case, the
problem can be solved by individually pai-
ring all transmitter and receiver units within
the setup (see "Pairing transmitters and ad-
apting them to the event icons").
Reset to factory defaults
Delete the pairing of each event icon (see
"Deleting transmitters").
When all previously assigned transmitters
have been removed from the memory, the
preset transmitter indication is restored and
the transmitters are automatically displayed
again.

Pairing transmitters and adapting them
to the event icons
Up to 8 transmitters can be assigned to
each icon. This assignment can be adapted
by programming. Kindly keep in mind that a
transmitter can only be programmed if it is
not yet known in the memory of the »si-
gnolux« receiver. If required, you first might
have to delete the transmitter from the memory
(see "Deleting transmitters").
a) Keep the function button »●« (fig. 2)
pressed for some time. The icons light
up in sequence. Let go of the button as
soon as you see the desired icon.
b) Now trigger the alert using your trans-
mitter (e.g. operate the doorbell push-
button).
c) Wait for about 20 seconds and test the
function.
Setting the melody
You can adapt the melody for each icon.
The signal mode switch needs to be in posi-
tion 0 or 1.
a) First trigger an alert (e.g. operate door-
bell pushbutton).
b) The icon assigned to the transmitter
should light up and the previously cho-
sen melody should be heard.
c) Press and hold the melody setting but-
ton »♫« (fig. 2) for two seconds.
Let go of the button and press it repeat-
edly until you have found the desired
melody (you can choose from 16 melo-
dies).
d) Once the icon ceases to flash, the
selected melody has been assigned.
