6.3 Positioning of the appliance
General notes on positioning
Attention!
!
Moisture escaping from the appliance (e.g. steam when
opened the door after operation) can damage furniture parts
and surfaces surrounding the appliance.
Protect them adequately against moisture, especially the
underside of the worktop in the case of sub-installation.
The appliance is fi tted with a laminated cover plate on the
top for freestanding positioning, which can be removed
by unscrewing it, e.g. for installation under a worktop
(see relevant chapter).
• Select an installation position for the dishwasher near the exis-
ting inlet and drain hoses and power supply.
Note: When building in the appliance, it may be necessary to cut
a hole in the opposite cabinet side for the electrical connection,
depending on where your socket is located.
• Also observe the following instructions according to the type
of installation.
