5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Problems, possible causes and what to do
Problem
Dishwasher doesn't
start
Water not pumped
form dishwasher
Suds in the tub

Possible Cause
Fuse blown, or the
circuit break tripped.
No power supply
Water pressure is
low
Door of dishwasher
not properly closed.
Blocked drain hose
Filter clogged.
Drain pipe blocked.
Wrong detergent.
Spilled rinse-aid.
What to do
Replace fuse or circuit breaker.
Remove any other appliances sharing
the same circuit with the dishwasher.
Make sure the dishwasher is turned
on, the the power cord is properly
plugged into the wall socket and there
is no power outage.
Check that the water supply is connec-
ted properly and the water is turned
on.
Make sure to close the door properly
and latch it.
Check the drain hose for kinks or
clamps.
Check coarse the fi lter
Check that the water of the kitchen
sink drains well. If this is not the
case, contact a certifi ed installation
specialist.
Open the dishwasher. When the foam
has dissolved, pour about 1 gallon of
cold water into the drain.
Close the door, start a program and
stop it again after the pumping-out
phase. If foam is still present, repeat
the process.
Use only the special dishwasher deter-
gent.
Always wipe up rinse-aid spills
immediately.
