4. Cleaning and Maintenance
To keep your appliance fully functional, maintain its appearance and
prevent odours, always keep it clean and take good care of it.
If possible, always remove dirt, deposits or foreign bodies immedi-
ately and clean all parts of the appliance at least once a week,
as described below.
Caution!
To avoid electric shock and short circuits,
disconnect the appliance from the power supply before clean-
ing and maintenance work.
4.1 Cleaning the appliance

Attention!
To avoid damage, follow the instructions below for cleaning:
• Make sure that liquids cannot penetrate into the door lock
and the electrical components, and avoid the use of spray
cleaners.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring sponges as these
can damage the surfaces. This also applies to some paper
towels.
• Do not use solvents for cleaning.
• Only use a cloth with warm soapy water to clean the outside and
the door area.
Note: The sides of the appliance door will not be reached by the
spray arms when washing up. If necessary, clean them before
closing the door.
• Only clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean the door seals regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
• To remove spots or stains from the surface of the interior, use a
cloth dampened with water an a little vinegar, or a cleaning product
made specifi cally for dishwashers.
