Markings
in Schematic and Circuit
Board Diagrams
(1) Parts with marks "MI" attached to circuit numbers in the
schenatic and circuit board diagrams are discrete
components.
(2) Parts with marks "@"
attached
to circuit numbers
in the
schematic and circuit board diagrams
are chip components.
(3) Parts with marks (2) in the circuit board diagrams are
leadless jumpers.

4. Cautions on Use of MOS ICs
(1) MOS ICs are inserted
in black foam for shipment.
This foam is a conductor which short-circuits
betwee
the leads to prevent damage.
Do not remove
ICs fromthis
foam during storage.
Avoid removing ICs from this fan,
placing them on plastic which
is likely to be chargel
with
static electricity or inserting them into styrol
foa.
(2) High voltages may be applied during soldering causedby
leakages from the soldering
iron.
Be sure to ground
the tip of the soldering
iron or use a low voltage
soldering
iron.
(3) The human body and clothes made of synthetic fiber ¢
nylon gloves may be charged with several
thousand vats
of static electricity because of friction.
Workers
should be grounded.
