Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in any electrical appliance. This does not necessarily mean that
there is a defect in the appliance. Therefore, please check whether or not you can correct
the fault using the table.

Never try to repair the appliance yourself. This could endanger yourself and sub-

Solutions, tips, explanations
Check the socket with another appliance.
Check that the mains plug is firmly inserted.
Further cooling not required. If the internal
temperature rises, the compressor switches
on automatically.
Select higher setting (see the chapter on "Set-
ting the temperature").
Select a lower setting (see the chapter on
"Setting the temperature").
See the chapter on "Checking and cleaning
the door seals".
Place insulation plate between the appliances,
or change location.
Only store cooled foods.
Adapt the ambient temperature to the climate
category (see the chapter on "Intended use").
Activate "Quick refrigerating". If the com-
pressor isn't switching on, please contact our
Service department.
