structure such as motorhomes with swing out rear doors and 3rd brake light at rear top section.
Only for direct mounting, not compatible with vehicles which are equipped with optional brake
light plastic housing.
CAUTION:
Use the included connection cable exclusively. Altering or replacing it will void your warranty.
The camera is water- and dustproof and has been licensed according to the international standard IP68. However, vehicle cleaning using high
pressure water and steam jet devices may still lead to damage of IP68 rated camera models by water intrusion. Keep a distance of at least one
meter between the water nozzle and the camera housing.
INSTALLATION:
The OE brake light insert can be unclipped from the vehicle. Access
to the stainless steel clips of the original brake light insert is via the
vehicle interior and the service opening in the rear ceiling area.
Use needle-nose pliers to press the clips together. Once the brake
light is lose, unplug the power supply connector on the backside.
Next, route the 10 m extension cable from the dashboard to the
mounting location of the camera. Connect the A/V RCA connectors to
the appropriate cam inputs of your head unit, as indicated in the wiring
diagram above.

Then connect the red/black power supply wires to the cam power
outputs of your HU. Insert the power supply connector on the
backside of the ZE-RCE3804 cam housing. With all wiring steps
complete, insert the cam into the sheet metal recess and press the
cam into position until the stainless steel clips lock in place.
