Introduction
1.1 I n te n d e d u se
The security fitting with integrated access control is a battery-operated access control system.
It has been integrated as a stand-alone device in a fitting system.
Identification is carried out by means of biometric finger prints.
An opening of the door from the outside is only possible for authorised users.
The door can be opened from the inside at all times and by all users.
Other applications are not permitted.
Unauthorised changes or modifications, which have not been described in these operating instructions, are
not permitted.
1.1.1 Foreseeable incorrect usages
Always make sure that the door can be closed. Do not use any wedges, doorstops or other accessories, which
prevent a closing and locking of the door.
1.2 T h e re ad oper ati on
A biometric reader is integrated into the security fitting. This is very energy-efficient. This results in a long battery
life. In standby the reader is in "sleep mode". You wake it up by putting your fingertip on the upper part of the
reader.
The read operation:
Put your finger flat on the reader.
Draw your finger down slowly, evenly and without pressure.
Pay attention to the audible and visible signals of the symbols.
