Notice
The sensor element (1) in the card reader is located above the external door handle.
A contactless card reader is integrated into the security fitting. The card
reader is highly energy-efficient. This results in a long battery life. In
standby operations the card reader enters "sleep mode". You can wake
the card reader by moving the card rapidly in the direction of the reader
field. The reading procedure is accelerated by holding your finger
simultaneously between the card and the card reader.
Move the card rapidly in the direction of the card reader. It is best to hold
your finger between the card and card reader during this process. Hold
the card in this position until you hear an acoustic signal and/or the
indicators flash.
