9.5 Glass pane(s)
9.5.1 Assembly/disassembly of glass pane in door
For removing and then re-assembling the glass pane you must observe the following instructions (see appendix 2,
fig. 7).
Disassembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by first sliding it upwards, then tilting it slightly forwards and then lowering it.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the screws.
Ø
Remove the frame sections.
Ø
Lift the glass pane out. The pane seal is also taken out.
Also check if the door seal must be replaced (see section 9.4.1).
!Tip
When replacing the glass pane always replace the seal in the door (= seal between the glass pane and the
door).
Assembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Assemble the glass pane with the new glass pane seal and place the door back by performing the steps described
for disassembling the glass pane in reverse order.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).
!Caution
Fold the glass pane seal over the top end of the glass.
!Tip
9.6 Fire chamber cladding
9.6.1 Wall and bottom lining
The plates are located on the bottom and against the back and side walls of the appliance (see appendix 2,
fig. 11). When replacing the plates, these will have to be taken out.
The bottom plate must be removed first, then the side wall plates and finally the rear plates.
Placing the plates takes place in reverse order.
Ensure that the plates are placed back in their original positions! The rear plate, for instance, must be placed with

the small, not countersunk, holes towards the front. The rounded, top side of the side plates should be on the side
of the door.
9.6.2. Flame baffle plate
At delivery, the flame baffle plate (see appendix 2, fig. 12) will be lying on the bottom of the appliance.
When performing maintenance at the appliance, the flame baffle plate must be removed.
Follow the procedure described below:
Ø
Grab the flame baffle plate and slightly lift it at the rear of the non-pane side.
Ø
Slide the flame baffle plate at the rear over the ridge on the non-pane side.
Ø
Lower the flame baffle plate on the pane side and remove the flame baffle plate.
Placing the flame baffle plate takes place in reverse order.
9.7 Supplementary installation instructions per appliance
9.7.1 Bora Corner, Wall
9.7.1.1 Placing the appliance
This appliance must be suspended from a wall.
The Bora Corner, Wall may only be mounted on a vertical wall made of robust, non combustible and heat-resistant

material.
The flue exhaust (niche pipe or connection piece suitable for 150 mm SS pipe) in the ceiling should be 209 mm

from the centre to the wall. In all other cases, bends should be used.
When placing the fire, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 9 and 10). The recommended height between the
bottom of the appliance and the floor is 400 mm (see fig. 9B). The top of the wall bracket will then be suspended
at 849 mm (see fig. 9A):

Determine the position of the wall bracket and draw it on the wall (fig. 10-4). The recommended height is 849 mm
(fig. 9A), measured from the top of the wall bracket (= 400 mm from the bottom of the appliance to the floor,
fig. 9B).
Ø
Drill holes in the wall and fasten the wall bracket using the supplied key bushes (fig. 10-3) and bolts (fig. 10-2).
