9.3 Outdoor air connection
It is possible to provide the appliance with an outside air connection. The outside air connection is optionally
available (as an external set) in two different versions. These sets allow a connection on the bottom or rear side of
the appliance. These sets are available via your supplier.
If you order a cover plate for the outdoor air connection, you must take these dimensions into account. For the

When disassembling the outdoor air connection, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 4 and 5):
Ø
Place the pipe opening against the bottom side of the appliance. (Bottom connection).
Ø
Use the 4 screws to mount the tray. (Rear connection).
Ø
Connect the flexible hose (Ø 80 mm) to the round 'pipe mouth' of the outdoor air connection.

If you want to disassemble the outdoor air connection, you should perform the above-mentioned steps in reverse
order.
9.4 Door
During installation or maintenance, check if the door closes properly.
If not, follow the procedure described below:

Check the seal of the door by placing a sheet of paper between the door and the fire. After closing the door, it
should not be easy to pull out the sheet of paper.
Check the door all around.
If there is no good seal of the door:
Ø
Replace the door seal (see section 9.4.1).
Ø
Adjust the door (see section 9.4.2).
9.4.1 Replacing the door seal
For replacing the door seal, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 6):
Ø
Open the door and lift it out by first sliding it upwards, then tilting it slightly forwards and then lowering it.
Ø
Remove the cord.
Ø
Remove excess sealant residues from the gutter of the door seal.
Ø
Use heat-resistant sealant to apply a new layer of sealant in the gutter.
Ø
Place the new cord.
Ø
Tape both ends of the cord together with heat-resistant tape and slide a heat-resistant sleeve over the tape.
The cord, sleeve and tape are available from your supplier.
Make sure that the ends of the cord are placed on the hinged side.

Ø
Hang in the door.
9.4.2 Adjusting the door
When adjusting the door, please proceed as follows:

On the side where the catch is located on the appliance, you will find a strip at the bottom and top side with an
adjustable barrel nut. Unscrew the 2 bolts by a few turns (see appendix 2, fig. 8).
Do not fully remove these bolts!

The top plate can be removed by lifting it in a straight position.

Ø
Adjust the strip to achieve a proper door seal.
Ø
Re-tighten the 2 bolts.
Ø
Check that the door now seals well, using the test with a sheet of paper described above (see section 9.4).
Ø
Repeat the above-mentioned steps until the door seals properly.
