Auf der Basis des SPS-Programmierstandards IEC1131-3 kann diese RS232-Schnittstelle mit einem entsprechenden Anwenderprogramm frei programmiert werden. Drucker, Modems, Meßgeräte oder andere Komponenten, die über eine serielle RS232-Schnittstelle kommunizieren, können durch das FP-Interface 2103 in das Automatisierungskonzept integriert werden.
