Continue to hold the smartphone and tighten the locking knob (7a).

Check that the smartphone is securely held.

Slide the camera shoe (10b) of the hot shoe adapter (10) into the shoe
(7b) of the smartphone holder (7).

Slide the clip of the receiver (2) into the clip shoe (10a) of the hot shoe
adapter (10).
9.
Connect the 3.5 mm angled jack plug of the TRS cable (4) to the
corresponding socket (2a) on the receiver and the straight 3.5 mm
jack plug to the audio input socket of your smartphone.
6.11 Switching the receiver on and off

Press and hold the button
→ The receiver is switched on.

Press and hold the button
→ The receiver is switched off.
6.12 Connecting the receiver to a smartphone / tablet
1.
Switch off your smartphone, tablet or Mac.
2.
Connect the 3.5 mm angled jack plug of the TRS cable (4) to the
corresponding socket (2a) on the receiver and the straight 3.5 mm jack
plug to the audio input socket of your smartphone, tablet or Mac.
3.
Switch the unit on again.
4.
Open the audio or video app on your device.
5.
Start recording by turning on the transmitter and receiver and waiting
for them to pair.
6.
Check the microphone system's functionality, and the device's quality
and settings.
7.
If the quality is poor, find a better position for the microphone or use
the wind shield.
