2. Explanation of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in a triangle indicates that
there is a risk to your health, e.g. due to an electric
shock.
The symbol with an exclamation mark in a triangle is
used to highlight important information in these operat-
ing instructions. Always read this information carefully.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and tips
on how to use the product.
This product must only be used in dry, enclosed indoor
areas. It must not become damp or wet, as this may
cause a fatal electric shock!
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instruc-
tions included with the product.
3. Intended use
This product is designed to charge round cell AA, AAA, C and
SC batteries. It can charge batteries with different chemical com-
positions, including NiCd, NiMH, Li-ion and LiFePO4 batteries.
The charging current can be set to 500 mA or 1000 mA (normal
and quick charging). In addition, mobile devices can be charged
using Li-ion or LiFePO4 rechargeable batteries inserted into the
charger (power bank function). For Li-ion and LiFePO4 batter-
ies, the charging status is automatically detected (25%, 50%,
