Notre conseil: Votre modèle réduit de voiture roule parfaitement tout droit si vous
effectuez un pinçage. A cet effet, ajustez les tringles de conduite de façon à ce que
les deux roues avant soient légèrement dirigées vers l'intérieur.
Changement du Quartz
Afin d'éviter une affectation double des canaux, il se pourrait que vous ayiez à chan-
ger le quartz dans votre radiocommande. Procédez de la manière suivante :
• Pour des raisons de sécurité de fonctionnement, vous ne devriez utiliser, pour le
fonctionnement de votre radiocommande, que des quartz explicitement recom-
mandés par le fournisseur.
• Retirez, émetteur éteint, le support du quartz de l'émetteur (14) du boîtier.
• Retirez le quartz du support en matière plastique.
• Placez le quartz de rechange avec une autre fréquence. Veillez à placer le bon
quartz dans le support. Les quartz d'émetteurs sont en règle générale marqués
des lettres TX (T = transmitter ou émetteur).
• Replacez maintenant le support de quartz avec le quartz dans l'émetteur.
• Sur le récepteur, le quartz (15) est fixé latéralement sur le boîtier. A l'aide de la lan-
guette en matière plastique, posée tout autour du quartz, vous pouvez maintenant
retirer le quartz de récepteur.
• Le quartz de récepteur approprié doit être marqué du même numéro de canal ou
de la même bande de fréquence que le quartz de l'émetteur. De plus, il est mar-
qué des lettres RX (R= Receiver ou récepteur).
• Placez le quartz de rechange avec la bande de fréquence appropriée à l'émetteur
dans le récepteur.
• Allumez maintenant l'émetteur et ensuite le récepteur et contrôlez la fonction de
l'appareil.

Inserting the batteries in the transmitter:
To supply the transmitter with power you will need 8 alkaline batteries or recharge-
able batteries in size round cell AA. For ecological and also for economical reasons
it is always recommended to use rechargeable batteries since they can be recharged
via a built-in charging jack (10). To insert the batteries or rechargeable batteries, you
do the following:
1. The battery compartment lid (9) is on the underside of the transmitter. Please
press the checkered lock and slide the lid off forwards.
2. Now insert the 8 batteries or rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment.
Please always make sure to pay attention to the correct polarity of the cells. A
corresponding note is on the bottom of the battery compartment.
3. Replace the lid of the battery compartment and let the lock click back into place.
4. When you operate the device with a rechargeable battery you can connect a
charging cable to the charging jack now and charge the rechargeable batteries in
the transmitter. Please always pay attention to the correct polarity of the charging
cable. The inside contact of the charging jack has to be connected with the plus
connection (+) and the outermost contact with the minus connection (-) of the
charger. The charging current should be approx. 1/10 of the capacitance of the
inserted rechargeable batteries. With rechargeable batteries with a capacity of
1200 mAh the charging current corresponds to approx. 120 mA and charging time
is approx. 14 h. To avoid damages of the internal track conductors and connec-
tions, please do not use fast chargers.
5. When the rechargeable batteries are charged and/or new batteries are inserted,
screw the transmitter antenna on and pull the telescopic element out all the way.
Now, for test purposes, switch the transmitter on with the on/off switch. The
green light diode (12) will now signal you the sufficient current supply of the trans-
mitter.
6. If the power supply for a spot-on operation of the transmitter is no longer suffi-
cient, the red light diode (11) will start flashing. I this case you have to stop using
the model straight away and the rechargeable batteries need to be recharged in
the transmitter or new batteries inserted.
7. To avoid a memory effect, you should have the transmitter on until the automatic
switching-off disables the transmitter when using NiCd rechargeable batteries
and only then connect it with the charger.
