6. OPERATION

Switch on the controller with the rear power
switch. The controller saves the last used setting
and restores it after re-activation.

Adjusting fixtures

Up to six RGBWAUV fixtures or fixture groups can
be connected to the DMX LED OPERATOR 6 and
be controlled by it. Set the DMX addresses of the
fixtures according to the table on page 16. The
fixtures have to be in 6-channel mode and have to
have R-G-B-W-A-UV or R-G-B-A-W-UV DMX
control functions.

Selecting fixtures

The fixtures are controlled with the buttons
FIXTURES 1 – 6, which allow to select fixtures
individually or combine them simultaneously. The
LEDs above the buttons indicate which fixture is
active.

Manual mode

By activating the manual mode with the
corresponding button (LED lights), you can select
a constant lighting color with the 6 basic color
buttons or choose among the 18 color presets
with the buttons in the COLORS section. It is
possible to combine 2 basic colors. Use the
corresponding fader to adjust the desired
brightness of a color.

COLOR FADE mode

By activating the COLOR FADE mode with the
corresponding button (LED lights), 7 preset colors
(red, green, blue, amber, pink, cyan and white)
will be faded. Adjust the brightness with the
DIMMER fader and the color change speed with
the TIME fader. The FADE TIME fader adjusts the
color gradient.

AUTO mode

By activating the AUTO mode with the
corresponding button (LED lights), 7 preset colors
(red, green, blue, amber, pink, cyan and white)
are switched in sequence. After each sequence,
the program changes between color fading and
color switching. Adjust the brightness with the
DIMMER fader and the color change speed with
the TIME fader. The FADE TIME fader adjusts the
color gradient.

COLOR MACRO mode

By activating the COLOR MACRO mode with the
corresponding button (LED lights), you can select
7 preset colors (red, green, blue, amber, pink,
cyan and white) with the TIME fader. The FADE
TIME fader adjusts the color gradient.

FADE, AUTO and CHASES modes. Use
SENSITIVITY fader to adjust the sensitivity of the
sound control.

Strobe function

function (LED lights). Press and hold the button to
adjust the flash frequency with STROBE SPEED
fader.

Storing a scene

The current scene (e.g. a customized color or a
chase/fade sequence) can be stored permanently
into the internal memory. For storing, keep the
PRESET button pressed during the scene until
the green LED is flashing. Short actuation of the
button calls the scene anytime.

Blackout function

The BLACKOUT button turns off all connected
fixtures (LED lights); by pressing the button once
again, all fixtures will return to their previous
brightness level.

Changing the DMX channel sequence

The sequence of the DMX channels can be
switched from R-G-B-W-A-UV to R-G-B-A-W-UV.
For this, keep the BLACKOUT button pressed
and switch on the unit. To confirm the procedure,
the LED above the button flashes repeatedly.
