Chapter 5. Installation:
Installation site
• For a group operation the water pipes of the appliances must be connected via the
Tichelmann-principle.
Mounting accessories
TWIN flush-mount cabinet
(Art.-Nr. 40042) – two DSX are necessary! –
With the flush-mount cabinet the DSX can be installed recessed in a wall. The wall
brackets and water connection pipes via the Tichelmann-principle are preassembled to
install two DSX. The minimum wall thickness for installing the flush-mount cabinet is
150 mm.
Installing the wall bracket
Note: With use of the TWIN flush-mount cabinet the wall brackets are preassem-
bled in the cabinet.
Installing connection pieces
Note: With use of the TWIN flush-mount cabinet the connection pieces must be
prepared and installed as described in the "Direct connection" instruction.
Installing the appliance
Note: Open the water supply only after the installation of both DSX. Otherwise
water will leak from the supply lines of the missing device.
Mounting the remote control's wall bracket
Note: With use of the TWIN flush-mount cabinet test the radio contact with closed
cabinet cover.
Chapter 7. Electrical connection:
Electrical connection from below
Note: The dimensions for stripping of the cable may vary with use of the TWIN
flush-mount cabinet.
Chapter 8. Initial operation
Selection of power rating
Note: It is recommended to set the power rating at all appliances equally to
ensure an optimal group operation.
