The water filter protects the machine
against lime scale formation, it re-
moves odorous and unwanted taste
substances (chlorine etc.) and op-
timises the quality of the beverage.
Only use water filters that are suitable
for the K-fee® System. For further in-
formation, please visit our website at:
www.k-fee-system.com
If a water filter is used, the machine has to be
activated for the water filter (p. 52). The filter
should be changed every 3 months.

For reasons of hygiene we rec-
ommend replacing the water
filter at least every 3 months.
Use the rotary scale to
set the month for the
next filter change.
Rinse several times
after inserting a new
filter until the system
is again ready for use.
