Risk of electrical shock!
•
Never use the cable to carry or pull
the device.
•
Always unplug the cable by the
plug. The cable may otherwise be
damaged.
•
Unroll the cables completely before
using the device. Do not use the
device with the cables rolled up.
•
Protect the cables from damage. Do
not step on, pull on, bend or tie the
cable into a knot. Replace damaged
cables immediately!
Do not drive the vehicle over the
•
plug, cables or control box. The
device could be damaged.
•
Do not use device if damaged. Dam-
age to the device or the charging
cable increases the risk of electrical
shock.
Run the cables so as not to cause
•
tripping hazards and the cables
cannot be damaged by e.g. objects
with sharp edges! Do not run cables
across hot surfaces!
•
Avoid pouring or dripping water or
other liquids over it. If water pen-
etrates electrical devices, the risk of
electric shock increases.
•
Verify all plugs and cables are free
from dirt, moisture, snow and ice.
Never connect the device to the
mains or vehicle with wet hands.
Be sure the supply voltage matches
•
the input voltage specified on the
device (230 V AC) to prevent dam-
age to the device.
•
Do not use extension cables, cable
reels, power strips or adapters to
connect to the mains socket or
vehicle.
•
Only use the plugs included with
the charger.
•
Never apply oil, grease or contact
spray to the contacts of the connec-
tors.
Always observe the plug sequence.
•
Always first connect the mains plug
•
to the 230 V mains socket. Then
connect the charging coupler to the
vehicle.
•
Always first disconnect the charging
coupler from the vehicle. Then un-
plug the mains plug from the 230 V
mains socket.
•
The weight of the device must not
strain the device connectors. Ensure
the connectors are strain-free, e.g.
by supporting or rerouting the
cables.
Never disconnect the device during
•
charging.
•
Ensure the protective cover is
attached to the charging coupler
when the device is not in use.
•
Maintenance work must be done by
qualified electricians.
