Calling information
• Push the INFO button (3) to call various information.
• For example, the following information is displayed:
DLS > Signal strength > Programme type > PTY > Multiplex name > Frequency > Signal error rate >
Signal info/data bit rate > Codec > Time > Date
Signal strength:
Mark 1 shows the required level.
Mark 2 shows the signal strength.
Stations with a signal strength below the required level do not send a sufficiently strong
signal.
Setting the data compression
The data compression rate compensates for dynamic fluctuations and connected volume fluctua-
tions.
• Push the button MENU (5).
• Select the TUNING (12) buttons to select "DRC".
• Push the button ENTER (11).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select the compression rate:
DRC high > high compression
DRC low > low compression
DRC off > compression off
• Push the button ENTER (11) to confirm.
Deleting inactive stations
Stations that are no longer broadcasting can be deleted from the station list.
• Push the button MENU (5).
• Select the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Prune".
• Push the button ENTER (11).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Yes".
• Push the button ENTER (11) to confirm.
