Resetting to the Factory Settings
When you move the device, e.g. because you are moving houses, the saved DAB stations may no
longer be within reach.
In this case, you can reset the device to factory settings to delete all saved stations including the
PRESETs and at the same time start a new station scan.
• Push the button MENU (5).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Factory Reset".
• Push the button ENTER (11).
• A safety prompt will appear in the display (13).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Yes".
• Push the button ENTER (11) to confirm.
• Push the button MENU (5) if you want to cancel the process.
In this process, all previously saved stations are deleted and the device restarts and per-
forms a station scan.

• Push the button MENU (5).
• Use the TUNING (12) buttons to select "Sw version".
• Push the ENTER (11) button to display the software version in the display (13).
b) What is DAB+?
DAB+ is a new digital format that will enable you to listen to crystal-clear sound without noise.
In contrast to conventional analogue radio stations, the DAB plays several stations on one and the
same frequency. This is called ensemble or multiplex.
An ensemble is made up of the radio station and several service components or data services that
are sent individually by the ratio stations.
