Operation
Deactivating quick freezing
Quick freezing will be deactivated au-
tomatically after 50 hours.
•
To deactivate quick freezing manual-
ly, turn the temperature controller in the
fridge (14) to the OFF position.
Door alarm
The use of energy and the temperature inside
the appliance can increase if the doors are
opened often or for long periods of time.
If the fridge door (2) is left open for more than
90 seconds, the interior light (1) will begin to
flash: 0.5 seconds on, 0.5 seconds off; 3 sec-
onds break; followed by another 0.5 seconds
on, 0.5 seconds off.

Close the fridge door (2).
The shelves
The "Convenient zone" drawer (10) in the
freezer can be removed to create more space
in the large drawer (9) below it.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the figure on page EN-10.
Pictograms
The following pictograms can be found on the
inside of the fridge door (2):
This indicates that fresh fruit and vegetables,
milk, drinks and eggs can be stored in the
fridge compartment of the appliance (see
"Chilling food" on page EN-15).
