Four security systems
The Monix pressure cooker has four safety systems
in order to guarantee the maximum levels of safety
during its use.
• The working valve acts releasing the surplus of
steam in case of excess of pressure inside the
pressure cooker through the air vent located in the
Pressure Selector device.
• In the unlikely event of obstruction of the working
valve a security valve would release the overpres-
sure inside the pressure cooker.
• The third safety system would act in the case of
malfunction of the working and security valve by
expanding the silicone gasket and releasing the
surplus of pressure inside the cooker through the
groove located in the edge of the stainless steel

lid.
- Finally, the pressure cooker has a locking system
that would not allow it to open if there was minimal
pressure inside.
The closure seal should be renewed each year.
