To stop the product
1. Push the start/stop switch to the STOP position.

WARNING:
to working technique in this operator's
manual is not sufficient training to operate
this product. Only use this product if you
have correct training in tree maintenance.
Operation without correct training can result
in serious injury or death to the operator or
others.
• Use full throttle when you cut and decrease to idle
speed after each cut.
CAUTION:
occur if the engine runs for too long at
full throttle without load.
• When you cut, put the spiked bumper into the trunk
and use it as a lever.
Note:
Not all models have a spiked bumper.
Speak to your servicing dealer for more information.
Pull stroke and push stroke
You can cut through wood with the product in 2 different
positions.
• To cut on the pull stroke is when you cut with the
bottom of the guide bar. The saw chain pulls through
the tree when you cut. In this position you have

• To cut on the push stroke is when you cut with the
top of the guide bar. The saw chain pushes the
product in the direction of the operator.
WARNING:
caught in the trunk, the product can be
pushed at you. Hold the product tightly
and make sure that the kickback zone
of the guide bar does not touch the tree
and causes a kickback.
To prepare the product for operation in
the tree
Ground operator
As a ground operator, do the following steps.
1. Examine the product.
2. Fill the fuel and chain oil tanks.
