The countdown timer can also be set once a zone is already in use. To do this,
repeat stages 2, 3 and 4.
Memory Cooking
The left-hand zone and the two right-hand zones have a memory which enables
you to record you own cooking programme for each zone. When you record a
programme the settings you select will be stored automatically.
A programme may last a maximum of 4 hours.
Recording a programme
1 Put a pan with contents on a cooking zone.
2 Press the link button 4 times.
The "record" indicator and the indicator for the
zones will start flashing.
3 Switch the appropriate zone on to the required
power level.
The "record" indicator and the indicator for the zone
will be on continually and the indicators for the other
zones will go off.
4 Select a setting.
After a few seconds the display will alternately show
the selected setting and "rE". The cooking times
and settings will be stored automatically during the
cooking process.
5 While you are cooking, the setting can be adjusted using the +/- button.
6 At the end of the cooking process press the on/off button or the link button
to stop recording the cooking programme.

Running a programme
1 Place a pan with contents on the appropriate
cooking zone.
2 Press the link button 3 times.
The "play" indicator and the indicators for the zones
will start flashing.
3 Switch the zone on using the on/off button.
The "play" indicator and the indicator for the
appropriate zone will stay on and the indicators for
the other zones will go off.
After a few seconds the display will alternately
display the selected setting and "PL".
The programme will run automatically according to the recorded cooking
times and settings.
4 Press the on/off button to stop the programme.
5 During the programme you can adjust the zone settings if required; the
programme will continue to run.
If you press the link button while a programme is running the programme will
stop but the zone will remain at the current setting.
Switching the tone off
The tone that sounds every time you press a button van be switched off as
follows:
1. Switch the front centre cooking zone on and off again.
2. Simultaneously press both + buttons for the middle zones for 3 seconds.
A tone will confirm the change. Repeat the procedure to switch the tone on
again.
