Restoring the default settings
This function resets the handset and base station settings to their default
status on leaving the factory.
Default settings:
Language: German
Battery warning signal: On
Range warning signal: On
Key tone: On
Receiver volume: 3
PIN: 0000
Pause: 3 seconds
Dialling method: DTMF/Tone
Note:
The phone book, calls list (CLIP) and all phone numbers in the
redialling list are deleted.
1. Press Æ and use the , button to select menu option
SETUP".
2. Press Æ to confirm the selection and then press the , button
to select menu option DEFAULT".
3. Confirm the selection by pressing the Æ button and enter the
four−digit PIN (default setting "0000").
4. Confirm by pressing the Æ button twice.
The telephone is then reset to its default settings.

Various tones can be switched on or off.
