1.3 Proper use

The electric heat exchanger is intended exclusively for heating pool water when the circulation or filter
pump is switched on.
Any other use or use that goes beyond this is considered improper use. The manufacturer,
BEHNCKE® GmbH, is not liable for any damage resulting from this.
Other uses are only possible following consultation with and approval from the manufacturer.
Only water with the following values may be used:
EWT 80-40/-41, 80-70/-71
Chloride content
Free chlorine
pH
Langelier index
The specific water resistance must not be less than ≤ 1,100 Ω cm at 15°C.
Modifications and alterations to the electric heat exchanger are forbidden for safety reasons.
For safety reasons, maintenance and repairs to the pipelines and the electrical installation may only
be carried out by qualified personnel.
NOTE!
Proper use also includes
- observing all the instructions in the installation instructions and
- complying with inspection and maintenance works
The maximum permissible positive operating pressure of 300 kPa (3 bar)
must not be exceeded.
The positive operating pressure must not fall below the minimum required
positive operating pressure of 10 kPa (0.1 bar).
The minimum flow rate is 1000 I/h.
