LV-DJ30 LED effect spotlight

Intended use
The LED effect spotlight is used to generate lighting effects in decorative lighting, light-show
facilities, party rooms, etc.
This product is approved for connection only to 100-240 V/AC, 50-60 Hz alternating current and
only for an earthed mains socket. Do not use any other power supply.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Do not
expose to moisture, under any circumstances.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Further-
more, improper use may cause risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please
read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to
a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Explanation of symbols
A triangle containing a lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g., electric
shock. The device does not contain parts that should be serviced by the user. There-
fore, do not open the device.
Important information that must always be observed is indicated in these operating
instructions by an exclamation mark.
The arrow symbol indicates special tips and notes on operating the device.
This symbol indicates that the product may be used only indoors.
This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these operating in-
structions prior to putting the device into operation and follow the instructions when
using the product.
This symbol indicates the minimum distance to the illuminated surfaces.
Safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention to
the safety instructions. We do not assume liability for injuries/material damag-
es resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the information
in these operating instructions regarding the proper handling of the product.
Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons.
• The structure of the device complies with safety class I. Use only a standard mains
socket (100-240 V/AC, 50-60 Hz) connected to the public supply network with an
earthed contact as the voltage source.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this effect
spotlight must be trained and qualified accordingly and observe these operating
instructions.
• LED radiation can be dangerous if the LED beam or its reflection enters unpro-
tected eyes. Therefore, before using the device, familiarise yourself with the statu-
tory regulations and safety instructions for operating an LED device of this type.

• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look directly or with optical instruments into the light!
Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures in sensitive persons. This applies in
particular to epileptics.
• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device was
taken from a cold to a warm environment. The condensation that forms might
damage the device.
• Never touch the mains plug with damp or wet hands. There is danger of a life-
threatening electric shock!
• Never pull the mains plug by pulling the cable from the socket. Always only use
the thus provided grip area.
• Always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket, if the device is not going
to be used for a while.
• For safety reasons always unplug the mains plug from the socket during a thun-
derstorm.
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Children are
not aware of the potential dangers involved when using electrical devices. For this
reason, be particularly cautious, even when using the device in the presence of
children.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,
vases or plants, on or directly near the device. Liquids could seep into the casing
and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a signifi-
cant risk of fire or of a lethal electric shock! If this is the case, cut the power to the
appropriate mains socket (e.g., switch off the RCD and the circuit breaker) and
then remove the mains plug from the mains socket. Do not use the product after
that and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, high humidity,
moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• Always check the device from time to time for damage. If the device or the mains
cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, switch off the appropriate mains socket
(e.g., via the respective RCD and the circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the
mains plug from the mains socket. Never operate the device with damaged hous-
ing, a damaged mains cable or missing covers.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- has visible damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or near the device.
• Never leave the device on unattended.
• Use the device only in temperate climate regions and not in tropical ones.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to safely
connect it, consult a trained technician.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work may be carried out only by an expert or
a specialist workshop.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if questions arise which are
not covered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our
technical support or other specialist.
