Cleaning dust container and cleaning filter
After the container has been emptied about 5 times we recommend complete cleaning of
the suction system from the settled dust. Tap the dust out of the HEPA filter over a dustbin
or to clean the filter through a blowing (we recommend the filter cleaning outside of living
area for hygiene reasons).Clean all parts (i.e. the container, the separator=cyclone unit
can be cleaned by tilting off the lid) in running lukewarm water (e.g. using a cloth or a fine
brush) and let it dry completely. Reassemble individual parts in the opposite direction after
it is completely dry.
– The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an empty container.
– Do not use any aggressive washing or cleaning agents or hot water to clean the filter.
– The filter is not intended for washing in a dishwasher.
– The dust container is not resistant to cleaning in a dishwasher.
– Cleaning the filter will not restore its original colour, but it will restore its filtration
properties.
– Neglecting filter cleaning may lead to breakdown of the vacuum cleaner!
– Make sure that the contact surfaces and sealing elements are functional.
– We recommend replacing the filter once a year or when it cannot be cleaned properly
or if it is damaged. You can buy a replacement filter in the elektro shop chain.
Storage
Store the appliance thoroughly clean on a dry, dustless place out of reach of children and
persons sui juris. Do not put the assembled rod vacuum cleaner on an uneven surface!
The cleaner must be placed on a flat surface where there is no danger of knocking over.
Storing accessories
Put the accessories (E1, E2, E3) to the holder F (Fig. 17). Wind the supply cord in the
compartment in the back part of the handle F. Power cord and the device keep out of reach
of children and incapacitated people.
V. MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the appliance before any maintenance. Store the vacuum
cleaner at a dry place, far enough from heat sources (e.g. fireplace, stove, heating
element) and protect it against weather conditions (e.g. rain, sunshine). Treat the surface
of the vacuum cleaner and the power cord (only when disconnected from the electric
socket) with a soft and wet cloth, do not use abrasive and aggressive cleaning agents!
Never dry plastic moldings over a heat source (e.g. heater, electric/gas stove).
