Setting the output level

The output power target value can be set either
• step-by-step (using a selected increment value)
– or –
• by recalling a stored value from a table.
Setting the output level step-by-step
 Press [] to increment/decrement the output level
value by the defined step size.
Note: The output level value is not stored for the
selected wavelength. You will have to set the
output level again if you change the wavelength.
Editing the step size
1. Press [MENU ENTER] to open the ALC MAIN menu.
2. Press [MENU ENTER] again.
The display changes to edit mode and the actual step
size is highlighted.
3. Press [] to change the step size.
4. Press [MENU ENTER] to accept the new setting.
Recalling stored output levels
Stored output levels can be recalled in two ways:

1. Press [ ] on the central key field to skip through the
table.
– or –
/
2. Press [ ] on the central key field for at least
2 seconds to open the output level table.
