The following terms and symbols can be
found in this user manual.
WARNING
This symbol indicates a hazard with a medium
level of risk which, if not avoided, could result
in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
This symbol indicates a hazard with a low le-
vel of risk which, if not avoided, could result in
minor or moderate injury.
Safety
Intended use
This appliance is intended to be used to remo-
ve cooking fumes and airborne grease from a
cooktop in a private household.
The appliance is not designed for use in a
commercial setting.
It is not suitable for use outdoors or on non-sta-
tionary sites (e.g. ships).
Persons who are unable to operate the appli-
ance safely due to their physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of knowledge must be
supervised during use.
