2019/2024, can be found in the product database ("EPREL") accessible by scanning the QR-Code on
the energy label (where present) or by directly accessing the European Union portal.

2.1 Intended use

According to current European regulations, the appliance covered by this User's manual belongs to
the following category:

AKD200R, AKD200R SS: counter chilled;

AKD400R, AKD400R SS, AKD600R, AKD600R SS, AKD200RG, AKD200RG SS, AKD400RG, AKD400RG
SS, AKD600RG, AKD600RG SS: vertical chilled;

AKD200FG, AKD400FG, AKD600FG: vertical frozen.
Not indicated models do not fall, at the time of printing this manual, in any category regulated by
European Union Regulations.
The refrigeration units are solely and exclusively intended for refrigerating food and drinks at the
temperatures indicated in Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9)
All food and beverages must be closed in suitable food storage containers before being placed
inside the refrigeration units.
The refrigeration units are designed for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY. These refrigera-
tion units are intended for use in restaurants, bars, food shops, etc.
The appliance only operates in complete safety when it is used according to its intended use.

2.2 Improper and incorrect use

Use of the appliance for purposes which differ from its intended use is forbidden, and will be con-
sidered an improper and incorrect use, not compliant with its intended use.
No claims may be made towards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising
as a result of use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely
responsible for damages caused during use of the appliance which does not comply with the in-
tended use.
The appliance was designed to be used within the temperature and humidity ranges indicated in
Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9). Use of the appliance at a temperature and/or humidity level
outside the specified range can result in unexpected operational anomalies and faults.
ATTENTION! The appliance is not suitable for use in environments such as phar-
macies, hospitals, analysis laboratories, etc., i.e. in all those applications that re-
quire dual temperature control, power supply alarms, and recording temperature
variation over time.
Any use of the appliance other than its intended use is absolutely prohibited, as is any tampering.
Above all, please note that:

It is forbidden to use the appliance if you are not authorized and adequately trained operators;

It is forbidden to use the appliance in a different way than that for which it was designed, as
well as that described in this manual;

It is forbidden to use the appliance without the protections provided for each process, as well
as to eliminate parts of them (if present, it is forbidden to disassemble the fixed and movable
guards, as well as to bypass the safety micro switches);

It is forbidden to make changes to the appliance;
