6.1

Device Status and Detailed Device Status

6.1.1 Description
The Device Status feature provides information about the
current device status.
Each Device Status is combined with a corresponding
diagnostic message (Events see chapter 3.6 on
page 19).
It also gives the user the possibility to actively read out
currently pending events of the device.

Description
This bit is set (TRUE) if there is an error in the device. This
information is linked to the device status (4-Failure), which
can be triggered by different device functions or diagnostic
messages. The bit is reset as soon as the error status is no
longer displayed (FALSE).
