1. If the cord is damaged or needs to be replaced, it should be done by a service
technician or a qualified electrician with the appropriate tools to avoid
accidents.
2. If the appliance is connected directly to the power supply, an omnipolar circuit
breaker with a minimum distance of 3 mm between the contacts must be
installed.
3. The electrician must make sure that the electrical connection has been made
correctly and complies with safety regulations.
4. The cable must not be kinked or compressed.
5. The cable must be checked regularly and may only be replaced by a qualified
person.
Customer service
Before contacting customer service:
1. Try to solve the problem yourself using the "Troubleshooting" section.
2. Switch the unit off and on again to see if this solves the problem.
3. If the problem persists after the above checks, contact your nearest service
centre.
Always provide the following information:
• A short description of the error
• The product type and the exact model
• Your full address
• Your telephone number
In case of repair, contact an authorised service centre to ensure the use of original
spare parts and correct repair. Spare parts are available.
Saving energy
Observe the following instructions to achieve optimum cooking results with
minimum energy consumption:
• Use pots and pans whose base width corresponds to the width of the cooking
zone.
• Only use pots and pans with a flat bottom.
• If possible, leave the lids of the pots on while cooking.
• Use a pressure cooker to save even more energy and time.
• Place the pot in the centre of the cooking zone marked on the hob.
