FIRST STEPS

Removing from packaging and
► When not in use and for transport , st ore the product and accessories in the drawst ring
bag supplied.
This provides the best protection and prevents damage.

Charging the battery

We recommend you use only the supplied USB cable to charge the battery.
1. Connect the product with the cable supplied to any st andard-compliant live USB-C
socket (e.g. USB power supply). If necessary, use a USB adapter (see "Technical data" on
page 18).
2. Remove the USB cable aft er charging.
Remarks on the life of Li-ion batteries
• When fully charged, disconnect the USB cable from the charger and the product.
• CAUTION! High temperatures, especially with a high charge level, can cause irreversible
damage.
• If the battery is not used or is st ored for extended periods of time, it is recommended to
charge it to approx. 50 % and st ore it at no more than 20 °C.
• Switch off the battery-powered product aft er use.

Using the product with a USB cable connection

You can operate beyerdynamic SPACE with a PC or laptop via a USB cable connection.
1. Switch on the laptop/PC.
2. Use the enclosed USB cable to connect the product to the desired computer via the
USB port .
If necessary, use a USB adapter (USB-C to USB-A, see "Contents of delivery" on page
8) at the computer end.
3. If the product has not switched on automatically, switch it on with the on/o
button once.
