Removing the BMW SIM
Reader
Only one SIM Reader can be registered with one
BMW ID in a vehicle.
To remove the BMW SIM Reader from a BMW ID
in the vehicle, navigate as follows:
1. "MENU"
2. "All apps"
3. "Mobile devices"
4. "Personal eSIM"
5. "BMW SIM Reader"
6. "Remove SIM Reader"
7. Confirm

Resetting the BMW SIM
Reader
Resetting deletes all vehicles stored in the BMW
SIM Reader and restores the factory settings.
Use a pointed object to press the button, e.g.
with a SIM needle.
Afterwards remove the SIM Reader from the
vehicle via iDrive. To use the SIM Reader again in
the vehicle, it needs to be registered once.
