Icons 1-6:
Temperature setting values in the cooling/freezing section. The first digit on the button

Temperature settings
1. Press and hold button B (for EFRT 11770 NWE) or press and hold button A (for EFRT 11851 NXE) to select
whether you want to adjust the temperature of the cooling or freezing section.
Press the A button to scroll through the individual temperature settings. The setting will be valid 15

Quick cooling function
If you use the A button to set the Quick Cool function (
set to the lowest possible temperature for 150 minutes, or until the temperature setting or mode is changed.
Quick freeze function
If you use the A button to set the quick freeze function (icon

STORING FOOD

Cooling compartment

• To reduce moisture and subsequent ice build-up, never put liquid into the refrigerator in unsealed
containers. Frost tends to concentrate in the coolest parts of the evaporator. Storing uncovered liquids
results in a more frequent need for defrosting.
• Never put warm foods in the refrigerator. These should first cool down at room temperature and then be

• Foods or food containers should not touch the back wall of the refrigerator because they could freeze to
the wall. Do not open the refrigerator door too often.
• Meat and clean fish (packed in a package or plastic foil) can be placed in the refrigerator, which can be
